Dazzling audiences in Malta

Blitz, the AV arm of Global Experience Specialists (GES) was in Malta recently, bringing the stagecraft and exhibition AV to Fisher Scientific’s pan-European sales conference, January 27 – 30, at the Hilton Hotel and Bay Arena, Intercontinental Hotel, St Julian’s, Malta.

This is the first time Blitz has delivered the AV to Fisher Scientific’s annual sales conference, but prior to its acquisition by GES in 2014, Blitz was official for AV for all three previous conferences in Estoril, Portugal 2012 & 2013 and in Malta in 2014. Its proven track record was instrumental in Fisher Scientific’s decision to select Blitz for the 2015 event.

Emily Quinton, European marketing communications manager, Fisher Scientific singled out the quality and efficiency of Blitz’s delivery as proof she had made the right choice. “Every year we resolve to build on the successes of every preceding conference, and this year the determination of Blitz to deliver unparalleled quality from the most basic exhibition AV to the widescreen projection for the plenary sessions was evident. Blitz exceeded all our expectations with the amazing light show for the Gala Dinner.”

David Coster, group account director, Blitz, was similarly pleased, saying “This conference is clearly a much-anticipated event with high expectations all round, so it was incumbent upon us to deliver some real wow factor alongside the essential AV supplies, despite a much-reduced AV budget.
